Having had a fascination with Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) the production of which started in 1840, I was thrilled to discover that some of the same pattern forms used for curtain tieback were also used for picture hangers with merely a change in the hardware used. The pieces we will be offering range from original, early reproductions to late reproductions.

We have taken the liberty of adapting them to picture rail or nail hanging hardware. Vintage pieces are limited in number. Email us if you are interested in matching curtain tiebacks.

Rhapsody in Blue!

The most breathtaking azure blue I've ever seen. A lovely piece in facetted glass. I've had this piece in before but never in this glorious blue. It is 3" in diameter and ¾" deep.

This pattern is quite rare and I'm always thrilled to find it. These very old pieces are in mint condition. The amber piece is very rich in tone, and the opalescent it truly "fiery". The color gets bluer when used on a dark background and lightens up to a softer blue hue when on a light background. The Amethyst is beyond description...it is truly breathtaking!

They are 4½" in diameter and can be adaped for picture rail or nail hanging hardware. Remember they can be used as tiebacks as well as picture hangers.

Colors are : Amber, Custard, Clear, Milk Glass

A pretty scalloped petal pattern vintage piece that will compliment any hanging. I don't find this pattern very often and was amazed that I found it in five colors. The number of pieces in each color, however, is very limited. I still have pairs for tiebacks in all but black. Diameter: 3¼".

G735 - $45.00 These are exquisite vintage pieces. Just one in each color. At first glance they look similar to G711, but upon closer examination you will see they were made in a much more precise mold. Note the beading on both the inner and outer petals and around the brass rosette. The colors and detail are extraordinary. I can't stop looking at them. They are 4½" in diameter and can be adapted for picture rail or nail hanging hardware. You can also have tieback hardware, but remember there is only one of each.
