The inspiration for our Jane Austen Collection came from the BBC classic television series. In many scenes I saw pictures hung in this manner. It makes perfect sense, if you have high ceilings, and don't want to "lose" your rosette way up at the picture rail. We have designed these so that you can slide the rosette up or down on the cord and position it where ever you like. If you see a picture hanger that you like, but that is not in this section, email me, as I may be able to adapt it to this method.

Bridle Rosette Details: Hunt Scene, Swans & Carriage

Bridle Rosette

These are lovely vintage glass bridle rosette transformed into sliding rosette picture hangers. This hanger allows you to position the rosette any where you choose above your hanging thus bringing the rosette down to eye level rather than losing sight of it up on the rail. The diameter is 1½" and they dome out 5/8".

We have just two of each of these. This hanger comes with 7 feet of cord. You will need a picture rail hook from which to hang this rosette. You may choose one from our selection or use one of your own.

A pretty braided rosette with a beaded centerpiece. The diameter is 2½". This hanger allows you to position the rosette anywhere you choose above your hanging thus bringing the rosette down to eye level rather than losing sight of it up on the rail.

A lovely vintage cameo surrounded by a string of pearls is the centerpiece of this rosette. Because of the vintage cameo, this one is limited in quantity. The diameter is 2¼". This hanger allows you to position the rosette anywhere you choose above your hanging thus bringing the rosette down to eye level rather than losing sight of it up on the rail.

Julianna will truly take you back in time with its carnelian cameo with a carnelian background and wide verdigris gold tone surround. Just one of these! We have designed these so that you can slide the rosette up or down on the cord and position it where ever you like. If you have high ceilings and don't want to "lose" the rosette up at the picture rail level, this is the perfect solution.

This hanger comes with 7 feet of cord. Diameter of the rosette is 2½". The overall length from the top of the medallion to the bottom of the tassel is 10"

"How Sweet It Is".... I'm really excited about our Cameo/Chain hangers of which this is one. This is a one of a kind vintage cameo in ivory on a tortoise shell like background, set in a beautiful, intricately cut gold tone surround.

The chain drop from your rail to the rosette is 24", and from the rosette to the back of your hanging is 18". But the good thing is you can adjust the chain yourself. You have a total of 5' of chain that you can adjust. (Call or email me if you need further instructions). Dimensions: 2¾" X 2¼"
